Evening March 25, 2020: DDS released three new Directives to help our community respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The directives were:

DEPARTMENT DIRECTIVE 03-032520: ADMISSIONS TO AND DISCHARGES FROM FACILITIES UNDER THE JURISDICTION OR CONTROL OF THE DEPARTMENT
DEPARTMENT DIRECTIVE 02-032520: REQUIREMENTS WAIVED DUE TO COVID-19
DEPARTMENT DIRECTIVE 01-032520: REPORTING INCIDENTS RELATED TO COVID-19 IN SANDIS

Morning March 25, 2020: We opened the order process for masks and Personal Protection Equipment but before we could even list it on this site we had more requests than we could fulfill.  We’ll send out another alert if we get more from the Department of Developmental Services. 

March 23, 2020: DDS published the following directives to help address the COVID-19 pandemic:

March 20, 2020 – Our latest communication Health Advisory III. DDS published the following directives to help address the COVID-19 pandemic: (TRADUCCIÓN ESPAÑOLA)

DEPARTMENT DIRECTIVE ON PLACEMENTS IN LICENSED RESIDENTIAL SETTINGS
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES LICENSED FACILITIES FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE AND EXEMPTION TRANSFERS 

  1. March 19, 2020 (12:54 pm) – In order to fulfill the 115 vendor and family requests for the N95 Masks we’ve closed the order process. If you would like to reserve masks in the event some are not picked up or we get more contact Doug Bonnet.  Masks distributions were limited to a 3 week supply. 

March 19, 2020 (8 am) Department Directive on Requirements Waived Due to COVID-19 and Additional Guidance.   

March 18, 2020: We will be meeting with DDS tonight and we hope to have new directives for the public later this evening.

March 18, 2020: Valley Mountain Regional Center Received N95 Masks: We organized delivrey and pick up.
