Person Centered Practices
Person Centered Thinking (PCT)
Person Centered Thinking (PCT) is a way to learn what is important to someone — like their needs, wants, and goals. It helps people make choices so they can live the life they want. PCT focuses on what makes life meaningful, like feeling included, being part of the community, spending time with family, and living at your own pace.
Learn More Through Training
VMRC offers a 2-day PCT training throughout the year. In this class, you will learn how to:
- Listen and communicate better
- Understand others more deeply
- Solve problems in your own life and when supporting others
Everyone is welcome to attend!
All VMRC staff are trained in PCT because we believe in supporting each person and family based on their own values and goals.
