Class Descriptions:
- SIR Training: The “Life of the SIR” is reviewed and the regulatory requirements together with Regional Center requirements for special incident reporting are covered. It is also a “how to” class for writing an effective SIR” and involves presentation along with group interaction and individual writing activities. Frequently asked questions are answered. Participants are given a folder with copies of training tools.
- P&I Training: This class reviews regulatory and best practice expectations for safeguarding consumer cash resources and property, including: allowable P&I expenditures; bookkeeping; loans; and concludes with a segment for questions and answers. Handouts are provided.
- TA/SI/CAPs: This class details the informal process of assisting providers with coming into compliance with areas of service that do not significantly impact health and safety. It also details the more formal process of findings that compel corrective action plans, including sanctions. Timelines and the appeal process are also introduced. Handouts are provided.
