Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC) helps people with developmental disabilities and their families get the support they need to live full and meaningful lives. We connect you to services, programs, and resources for every stage of life, from babies and young children to adults. Our staff work with you to understand your goals, provide guidance, and coordinate services that meet your individual needs.
Eligibility Determination
Before receiving services through VMRC, individuals must meet certain eligibility requirements. Our team can guide you through the process, which includes:
- Evaluating and individual’s developmental needs
- Reviewing medical, educational, and developmental information
- Determining eligibility based on Early Start and Lanterman Act guidelines
Once eligibility is confirmed, our staff will work with you to create a plan that connects you to the services and supports that best fit your needs.
