Clients’ Rights Training for Regional Center Vendors

The Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy presents Clients’ Rights Training for regional center vendors. Vendors, as persons who provide services to people with developmental disabilities, can help people achieve the most independent life possible and can help protect clients’ rights. You can help make sure all people you serve enjoy the same legal rights and responsibilities as everyone else in society. It is important to be aware of what might be happening in a person’s life that might be a violation of their rights as human beings and members of our society. This training will review basic rights, the Lanterman Act, Title 17, denial of rights and more.
