What will this online seminar cover?

This module is designed to provide care providers knowledge and skills that will improve the safety and effectiveness of medications used by VMRC Consumers.  We will cover the following topics.

• Understand basic medication vocabulary
• Know how to read a prescription label
• List the “7 Rights” for giving medications
• Know how to store, assist with medication administration, and document medications
• Use strategies described to reduce consumer refusal of medications.

Intended audience: residential service providers, VMRC staff who work with consumers and vendors
