Dear Regional Center Stakeholders,

Every year, VMRC develops a Community Resources Development Plan (CRDP) and Community Placement Plan (CPP) based on the needs of persons served.  The plan is developed in accordance with the Department of Developmental Services guidelines. The Department’s goals for the CPP and the CRDP is to be responsive to the changing needs of individuals receiving services through California’s developmental disabilities services system and enhance the capacity for community services.

The CPP and CRDP are designed to support three of the Department’s goals:

• Goal One: Expand the availability, accessibility, and types of services and supports to meet current and future needs of individuals and their families in the community.

• Goal Two: Develop systems to ensure that quality services and supports, in the least restrictive environment, are provided to individuals in the community.

• Goal Three: Develop services that are person-centered, specialized and represent cultural and linguistic diversity throughout the regional center’s catchment area.

To best support VMRC’s annual CPP/ CRDP plan, we request that you complete the “Survey” and provide your responses no later than July 16^th.
